What this medicine is for

Zomig Tablets are used for the acute treatment of migraine attacks in adults, with or without aura.

They are prescribed for patients diagnosed with migraine to help relieve symptoms such as moderate to severe headache, nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound.

Zomig works best when taken early during a migraine attack.

How it works

Zolmitriptan belongs to a group of medicines called triptans.

It works by narrowing dilated blood vessels in the brain and reducing inflammation thought to contribute to migraine symptoms.

This helps relieve headache pain and associated migraine symptoms during an attack.

Directions for Use

Warnings

Not suitable for individuals with a history of heart disease, stroke, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.

Do not take with other triptans or ergot-type medications.

Use only as directed by your healthcare professional.

Seek medical advice if migraines become more frequent or change in pattern.
