What this medicine is for

Zomig Nasal Spray contains zolmitriptan 5mg and is used for the acute treatment of migraine attacks, with or without aura.

It is intended for patients diagnosed with migraine who need fast relief of symptoms such as headache, nausea, and sensitivity to light or sound.

How it works

Zolmitriptan belongs to a group of medicines called triptans.

It works by narrowing widened blood vessels in the brain and reducing inflammation believed to contribute to migraine symptoms. This helps relieve pain and associated migraine symptoms quickly.

The nasal spray formulation allows the medicine to be absorbed rapidly through the nasal lining, providing faster onset of action than standard oral tablets—especially useful during migraine attacks involving nausea or vomiting.

Directions for Use
