Description

Imigran Nasal Spray contains 20mg of sumatriptan, a fast-acting migraine treatment used for the acute relief of migraine attacks with or without aura. It belongs to a group of medicines known as triptans, which work by narrowing widened blood vessels in the brain and relieving inflammation that causes migraine symptoms.

Unlike tablets, Imigran Nasal Spray is absorbed quickly through the nasal lining, making it ideal for people who experience nausea or vomiting during migraine attacks and cannot tolerate oral medications. It’s also convenient for on-the-go use and begins working faster than traditional tablets.

Directions for Use:

• Use one spray into one nostril at the onset of migraine symptoms.

• If the migraine returns, a second dose may be taken after 2 hours.

• Do not use more than 2 sprays (40mg) in 24 hours.

• Not for use in preventing migraines.

Warnings:
Prescription-only medicine. Not suitable for individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, or a history of stroke. Do not use in combination with other triptans or ergotamine medicines. Always read the patient leaflet and follow your doctor’s advice.
