Description

Almotriptan 12.5mg Tablets are used for the acute treatment of migraine headaches in adults. The active ingredient, almotriptan malate, belongs to a group of medicines known as triptans, which work by narrowing dilated blood vessels in the brain and blocking pain signals associated with migraine attacks.

Almotriptan is effective in relieving migraine symptoms such as moderate to severe headache pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound. It works best when taken at the first sign of a migraine attack and is not intended for migraine prevention or treatment of cluster headaches.
