What this medicine is for

Warticon 0.15% Cream is a topical treatment used to remove external genital and anal warts caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).

It is intended for use on visible external warts and is not suitable for internal use.

How it works

Warticon contains podophyllotoxin, which works by destroying wart cells and preventing them from multiplying.

This causes the wart tissue to break down and gradually disappear during the course of treatment.

Dosage Guidance

• Apply only to affected wart tissue and avoid surrounding healthy skin

Common Side Effects

• Mild burning or stinging at the application site
• Redness
• Irritation
• Tenderness
• Skin erosion or soreness around treated areas

Warnings

For external use only.

Do not use on broken, bleeding, or inflamed skin.

Do not apply inside the vagina, urethra, rectum, or anal canal.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Not suitable during pregnancy unless specifically advised by a healthcare professional.

Use only as directed by your healthcare provider.

Tell your healthcare provider if you:

• Experience severe irritation during treatment
• Are using other wart treatments
• Have any underlying skin conditions affecting the treatment area
