Malarone Tablets

Description

Malarone Tablets contain a combination of atovaquone (250mg) and proguanil hydrochloride (100mg), two active ingredients used to prevent and treat malaria, particularly against Plasmodium falciparum, the most dangerous type of malaria parasite.

Malarone is commonly recommended for travel to high-risk areas, including parts of Africa, South America, and Asia. The tablets offer a well-tolerated alternative to older antimalarials, with a short dosing period before and after travel and once-daily administration.

Malarone is also used under medical supervision to treat active malaria infections in both adults and children.
