Gyno Daktarin 2% Vaginal Cream is an antifungal treatment used for vaginal thrush (candidiasis), a common yeast infection caused by an overgrowth of Candida species.

Vaginal thrush can cause symptoms such as itching, irritation, abnormal discharge, soreness, and discomfort internally.

How it works

Gyno Daktarin contains miconazole nitrate, an antifungal medicine.

It works by disrupting the cell membranes of fungi, which kills the organisms responsible for the infection and helps clear the symptoms. It may also have some activity against certain bacteria, helping reduce the risk of secondary infection.

Warnings

Do not use if you are allergic to miconazole or other imidazole antifungals.
