What this medicine is for

Domperidone 10mg Tablets are used for the short-term treatment of nausea and vomiting in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older who weigh at least 35kg.

Nausea and vomiting can occur for many reasons, including illness, medication use, digestive disturbances, or certain medical conditions. Domperidone helps provide symptomatic relief and improve comfort.

How it works

Domperidone belongs to a group of medicines known as dopamine antagonists.

It works by increasing the movement of the stomach and upper digestive tract, helping food move more efficiently through the digestive system. It also acts on the vomiting centre in the brain to help reduce feelings of nausea and prevent vomiting.
