Lyclear Dermal Cream

Description

Lyclear Dermal Cream is a powerful and trusted topical treatment containing Permethrin 5%, used to eliminate scabies and crab lice (also known as pubic lice). Permethrin belongs to a group of medicines called pyrethroids, which kill parasites by affecting their nervous system.

This cream is suitable for both adults and children aged over 2 months, and usually requires just one thorough application to be effective, though sometimes a second application is needed after 7–14 days if symptoms persist.

 How to Use:

For Scabies:

1. Apply a thin layer over entire body from neck down (including soles of feet and under nails).

2. In elderly patients or infants, include the scalp, face, ears, and neck.

3. Leave the cream on for 8–12 hours (usually overnight).

4. Wash off thoroughly using soap and water.

5. A second application may be necessary after 7–14 days.

For Crab Lice:

• Apply to affected areas, including hairy areas of the body and beard/moustache if needed.

• Leave on for 12 hours, then wash off.

 Wash bedding, clothing, and towels in hot water to prevent reinfestation.

 Warnings & Precautions:

• For external use only

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes

• Not recommended for children under 2 months without medical advice

• Discontinue use if allergic reaction or irritation occurs
