Description

Finacea Gel 15% is a dual-action topical treatment used to manage rosacea symptoms and mild to moderate acne. Its active ingredient, azelaic acid, is a naturally occurring acid with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and keratolytic (skin-smoothing) properties.

Azelaic acid works by:

• Killing acne-causing bacteria

• Reducing inflammation and redness

• Unclogging blocked pores

• Slowing down production of keratin, which can block pores

 Used to Treat:

• Rosacea – reduces papules, pustules, and facial redness

• Acne – treats whiteheads, blackheads, and inflammation

• Skin discoloration or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (off-label)
