Daktarin Oral Gel is a fast-acting antifungal medication used to treat oral thrush (a fungal infection caused by Candida) and fungal infections in the throat, mouth, and gums. The gel sticks to the lining of the mouth and delivers the active ingredient directly where it’s needed for maximum effectiveness.

Directions for Use:

Adults and children over 2 years: 2.5ml (½ teaspoon) four times a day

Infants 4 months – 2 years: 1.25ml (¼ teaspoon) four times a day

Apply after food; keep the gel in the mouth for as long as possible before swallowing

Continue for at least 7 days after symptoms clear to prevent recurrence
Precautions:

Do not use in infants under 4 months or those who cannot swallow properly

Use with care in patients on blood-thinning medications (e.g., warfarin)
